Recent Activities....

Well, probably you are interested in what we are doing here in Mongolia. This week all lectures have finished and we had the last Mission Night (Finland and Switzerland). Now we will have a real Outreach!:)
Last week we have visited a Mongolian Church, it was not far from us. Of course it was hard understand, but I was sure the preaching was about Christmas. That day they have celebrated a one year Anniversary. After the service we had some tea and snacks and we "tried" to talk to people. The same day we went to the International Church in the same building. Everything there was in English.:)
What else? Some students got sick of cold. Some are lying in the bed. It is not good! Pray that they all will be healthy. We really need your prayers!
Today we also went to the skating-rink. Unfortunately not everyone could come because of illness. The skating-rink is very close to our house where we live. We really enjoyed this time. We played, danced there and just had fun altogether!:)
This Sunday we will show one drama with masks in the Mongolian Church and share a testimony too. Please pray for this too!
Follow the blogg and see more later.....:))

I see the King of Glory, coming on the clouds with fire

The whole earth shakes, the whole earth shakes

I see His love and mercy, washing over all my sin

The people sing, the people sing

Hosanna, Hosanna

Hosanna in the highest

I see a generation, rising up to take their place,

With selfless faith, with selfless faith

I see a near revival, stirring as we pray and seek

We’re on our knees, we’re on our knees

Heal my heart and make me clean,

Open up my eyes to the things unseen

Show me how to love like you have loved me,

Break my heart for what breaks yours

Everything I am for your kingdoms cause,

As I walk from earth into eternity

Hosanna, Hosanna

Hosanna in the highest!

WHERE IS SHE NOW???

(Continiue) ...Then God put on my heart one girl named Chinga. She looked like a 15-year old girl. She wasn't so nicely clothed, and she didn't have a "bright" appearance. My heart to her was like a magnet. Unfortunately, I couldn't find an interpreter. I noticed that she had something wrong with her hand. She looked so MISERABLE AND BROKEN. Still I tried to talk. The only desire I had that moment was to speak Mongolian fluently. I wish I could express God's love for her and give her a great encouragment and forever promises from God. I could say only one thing: that Jesus loves her very very much. After a few seconds I was told that she doesn't have a dad or mom and that she was living on the streets near the railway, somewhere where she could find a warm place. After these words my heart just "squeezed" so strongly that my heart, my mind, and my soul were just "CRYING".
I really didn't know what to say and I couldn't speak. We finished. At the end of my conversation I just hugged her, but I felt that she actually didn't feel it was a "loving hug". I wished I could do something that very moment.....
Then in the programme was karaoke (singing songs from the screen with a microphone). Chinga went there with great pleasure. I was just standing near the door looking and praying for her. Then I couldn't stand any more; I went the bathroom and just cried and prayed for all the ladies. I realized how much I hate the devil for ruining other peoples lives. I felt so sorry for all of them; I wished I could do something that very moment.....
I tried to hide my tears and went out and I took Chinga's hands. I hugged her. Then the ladies started to dance. I danced with Chinga, her face was shining with a beautiful smile. We danced only for one minute. I didn't really want her to let go... She became so dear to me after this short time.
God not only touched my heart, he "shook" it so strongly....I felt how much Jesus is crying with them too. How much He is compassionate and loving to them. How great the plans are He has for every of those ladies.
The evening ended with a strong pain and compassion in my heart. "Chinga", "Chinga" this name I repeated many times. The question is: "Where she will go after this wonderful evening in her life?" Unforgetable evening. Where she will go, when she has no friends, no shelter, no parents, no money, not anyone? Will she again go to this terrible and dirty place? Will she be safe tonight? Will she have a good sleep tonight or food to eat? Where is she now as I am writing this? Is she warm enough? WHERE IS SHE NOW?

- Chinga is on my every day prayer list
- The evening "shook" my heart
- The ladies are on my mind and my heart

Prayer requests:

Pray for the prevention of prostitution in Mongolia

Pray for opportunities for the ladies
(work, education, bible study)

Pray for the team that is working with them
(American and Mogolian missioanaries)

Pray for the financial support

Pray for devoted Christians who are ready
to work, to help, and to influence them.

"For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost."
(Luke 19:10)

"...I am Your God. I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand."
{Isaiah 41:10}

THANK YOU FATHER!!!!

Time 10:15. It is the last night to go out to the ladies of night. It is very cold outside, almost -30 degrees. My only prayer was to met her again.  All the time when we went out, I was looking for her everywhere. She became very important to me, so dear to me as she was my only sister and even more…. I thought I will never meet her again. I couldn't stop praying for her.
That night we went out to a new place, a very dark and dirty place. I went with Galya from out team, inviting them to have a cup of coffee. There were not so many ladies, because it was very cold. When we went a little bit far from the rest of the team, suddenly I saw a girl. She seemed to be very cold. I ran to her so fast as I could. I recognized her. It was she, it was Chimga!!! It was an answer to my prayer. I run to her  and hugged and said: “it is me, Zhenya! Do you remember me?”. I knew that she remembers me from the Party. I took her hand and I was so happy that she was near, that my dream realized and that God brought her to me. I was so thankful to HIM!!!!
She started to drink coffee, warming her hands, looking around. She was so miserable and lost. I was just hugging her and holding her hands. Then she took another cup of coffee and soon she started to speak… She said “I am tired, some men want to kill and sometimes she wants also to commit suicide” She was very desperate….I couldn't keep my eyes from tears. I started to cry and sob, so she too… We cried together, hugging each other. I didn't want to let her go…never…never!

We took her to the office. Me and my friend Galya brought her everything she needed, food clothes, towel, warm socks and etc. We had to stay with her all night, It was such a great pleasure for me to take care of her. She was very hungry and cold. After several hours, her face started to shine with a beautiful smile. She was so happy as a child! Then we went to bed. I was so thankful to God that she was near and safe and that she can have a rest and be comforted. She immediately felt asleep. She was tired of this day and terrible life.
Next morning it was decided that she have to go home. My heart squeezed… I was crying inside…Oh, no..I don’t want her to come back to that terrible life, I don’t want to feel broken again. How much I wished I could do something that time. We were talking about Jesus and faith in Him and that He is the only One who can change her life. She knew that!

When I was seeing her off to the bus station, Again I was holding her hand and showing on her heart and saying “Есус Христус!” that means Jesus Christ. She beat on her heart and said the same words. I knew that Jesus will never let her go, He will always help her!
When I was returning back from the bus station the only words I had in my heart were “Thank You Father!” Thank you for that wonderful meeting! It was You! It was from You!!!

CHRISTMAS PARTY!!!

Yesterday we had a Christmas party in one cafe for prostitute girls. I will not call them "prostitutes". It sounds very harsh and offensive and disrespectful. I will call them "Ladies of the night". They do what they hate to do; they do it just to survive in this life somehow. They are not prostitutes, they are not! They have never been them either. It is not their nature, it is not their character or behaviour. They just do it because they have to. They are perfect and precious in God's eyes; they are very beautiful both inside and outside. They are not what they are considered to be.
I was also sharing my testimony with them. I thank God that He gave me this opportunity.:) Later I tried on my "very broken" Mongolian language with some girls.
MORE TO COME..............

Details....

Yes, we are here!:)
It was a long and trip from Perm to Ulan-Ude by train for three days then from Ulan-Ude to Ulan-Bater by bus for 12 hours. I thought I would be very tired but it I wasn’t!:) It was very funny. I slept well in the train and we talked to people and had opportunity to tell about Jesus. One lady was asking a lot of questions about Abraaham and sacrifice, tithe, Trinity and etc. It was a long conversation. Then we met one guy whom later we gave a New Testament and when we went from the train we also gave NT to train attendant. She was so happy.

Then I was thinking about people and God taught one lesson. I learned that God send them not just because they are on the train or outside and we just decided to share. But all people God is sending to us are very special. We seed, someone else will seed and then other and one day they will come. And not stop praying for them.

Now we live in a wonderful hostel, but we will stay only for more 2 days then we will move to the flats. We will stay in Mongolia for one month and we will minister to ladies of the night (prostitutes). On Monday (21 December) we will make a Christmas party for these girls. We will share testimonies and play some games and have time to talk to them. If you will have opportunity please pray or us this day.
Then after two weeks we will split in teams, one team will go to China another team will continue minister here. It will be me, Amy, Marta, Deborah, Andrey and Galya. We don’t now exactly what else we will do here, but soon we will know everything. We have YWAM base here with whom we will work.
More I will share later……..

By the way, MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WE ARE IN MONGOLIA!!!

I think everybody knows about this tragedy. It is really shocking. Sometimes we wonder why God allowed this happen. We don't know. But there is God's will on everything in our lives.
It is very important to belieive in Him. There is no life without Him.
Personally, I AM VERY HAPPY that Jesus is my Lord, my Saviuor and my Eteranal love! I love Him very much!

PRAYER REQUESTS: - Pray that God will heal parent's and relatives hearts
- Pray for those who are in hospital now and for doctors
- For Churches and attempts of evangelism in the hospitals
- For Children who have lost their parents

This accident really touched my heart, but it made my heart strong too. I understand more and more how I want to proclaim the Gospel to everyone on my way. I want to make known God for all the nations, all people in the World!

We are still mourning....

One day in the Orphanage...

Hello to everyone!
How are you doing today? Iam doing pretty well, but physically tired and want to sleep as usual.:)
Well, I'd like to share a liitle bit about ministry in the orphanage that we took part in. The orphanage is situated not far from Perm (around 20 minutes by car).
The orphanage include around 200 children, some of them have families, some of them not. The saddest thing I have noticed there, children like to "boast" to each other. That is very sad. We have prepared a programme for 2 hours and children really enjoyed everything. We were there first time and they were waiting for us long time and when we came they were already standing and meeting us, waving their small hands. It all reminded my atmosphere in our children, it was exactly the same. We showed them a drama, puppet show, watched a cartoon "You are special" by Max Lucado, played different games and talked to them. One boy came to me and said "Did you know that Iam a hero from the movie people X, I am Rosomaha and I can kill and I am very powerful". Then he started to boast about his parents and suddenly he started to cry. He said "You reminded my mom, but she has died 5 years ago" It really touched my heart, I understood him exactly what he was meaning. We talked about different things.... At the end of our programme when we had to leave, he runs up to me and gave me one of his pictures and said that I need to finish it. He shaded a tear and said "Now i want to be a hero of Jesus!" We gave them a medal that said "God loves me". Then he said:"I will always wear it all the time".
One more..... One girl came to me, she looked exactly, like I looked when I was a child. I was really shocked!!!! I asked what was her name, she said "Zhenya", then she said my father's name is also Zhenya. I was thinking, she is my copy. My father's name is also Zhenya. I liked her very much too.
I liked all children there very very much. We did what God wanted us to do.
Praise God!!!

What has God changed in me during this time???

Well, first of all I want to thank God what He has already done in my life. Iam here it was God's will, not mine. First days I was asking God "Why did you bring me here? What for?" I knew that we will learn about God, missions, etc. but my heart was far from it. I just accepted knowledge for granted. Some of the things I knew already and had some experience. First what we were asked to do is to start our DTS journal that will include our thoughts, what we have learned from the teachers during the weeek, God's character, events of the week, values of YWAM. Here all the topics that we have learned:
-Mercy Ministries
-Team building/Evangelism
-Holiness and the Character of God
-Worship
-Forgivness and clear conscience
-Your calling and Evangelism
-The Father Heart of God
-Missions
-Apologetics
-Worldview
All the lectures included a lot of practice both outside and inside of the base. For me, practical part is a primary thing. Teachers came from different parts of the World. I liked to talk to them on different topics and ask them many questions.:))

My journal also include my testimony and a letter to God! We pass our journal to our leaders and they check it and give some comments or encouragements or advice. It is nice to get candies from them too!!!!:)

During these weeks I have started to work hard on my character especially. We all are not perfect of course and it is very hard to give away all our rights to God in all spheres. Iam working on it now. In my copy-book I have made a special scheme how to work on my character. I choose a quality each week for eaxample love or humility and learn one verse from the Bible and trying to apply it the whole week. Sometimes it is really difficult. But I like when God creates such situations to practice it.:)
I have also learned to work in teams with different people. Sometimes when you have no patience or you are tired, God gives His strength to overcome everything!!! We are all different but we have UNITY! God also tought me to dream! Yes, to have huge dreams and not be afraid of dreaming. I don't know why but I do really have huge dreams in my life. My trust in Him. If it is really His will he will realise them for His glory!!!! We have quite time here every morning! I love this time, when in the silence can be only you in God. Prayer where I have my quite time is my my favourite room.:) I do not know yet what is God preparing me for after DTS, but I am confident that He has something special for me. I am waiting for what He will say to me and where He wants to send me. "I am the Way, the Truth and Life". Nice promise!!!:))

What God's characteistics did God show me?

GOD IS A TEACHER! He is eager to teach us every day something new, revealing Himself in different situations.

GOD IS COMFORT AND SUPPORTER! He understands you and it doesn't matter what mood you have, He is always near and only comforts you without any judgement. He is crying with you and He is laughing with you too!!! This is a great experience!

GOD IS HEALER! God really healed my heart here too from different pains in my heart. It is a great achivement in my life. Only this healing is worth that I came here. God took all my worries and difficulties from my heart. Now I wear a neckless with a cross that always remind me it. Devil doesn't have any power on me. Jesus defeated him.
I am really happy that I am here! Very happy!!! Thank YOU GOD!!!

Something new.....

Here we have a great fun together! Yahoooo!!!!
The other picture was in the Church new Testament. Dasha or student has a Birthaday, so we celebrated it in one cafe in the church!!!

воскресенье, 29 ноября 2009 г.

As I promised to tell more. Here it is! We have snow already here and it is really cold too. I wear already winter clothes and shoes. in the room it is also sometimes cold and sometimes it is too stuffy. Perm is located on the river Kama and the population of the city is around 2mln. people. In comparison with our city it is really dirty, but it is very beautiful when the snow is everywhere. In the picture you can see my friend Dasha, she came from St. Petersburg and she has a Birthday today too! Congratulations!!!:)))
In two weeks we are going to Outreach in to Mongolia and China! We will be divided into two teams. Then one team will go to China and Vladivostok, our team will go China. We will spend one month in every country. I think it will be fun! I believe that God has prepared something wonderful for us! In Mongolia we will live in a hostel, in China we will live in a flat! I pray that God will send us people, so that Outreach will not be useless, but very fruitful!!! Pray for this with me too!:)))
We will come back in February and then we will have graduation and then home. to tell the truth i don't want to go home, I would like to go somewhere else, but I don't know yet.Ok, I may come home only for sometime, but I don't want to stay there long.
Oh, I forgot to tell one more funny thing that we have here! MISSION NIGHTS! i love them very much! We are praying for different countries, intercede for them and we preparing for them very hard! Some is responsible for the food, the other is for decoration and some people are for the programme. We have it once every week. This week we will have Mongolia. Interesting???? Yes, I think so too!!!!!!:))))
